We ended up eating at the Hard Rock Cafe. We went to the Veranda Cafe for lunch but after being seated for 15 minutes we left since a server never came.
So I got two bottles of water for $19.95! I walked around and checked out the menus at the various restaurants and found the food to be extremely overpriced. Also, I could not connect to the WiFi in the room on either my cell phone or my tablet and I did not use the fitness center. Ok so the water was in the room along with a refrigerator but there was no coffeemaker or newspaper. The reservation said there was a resort fee of $19.95 per night which included WiFi, in room coffee and tea, access to the fitness center, two bottles of water and a newspaper. The bed was also very old and made a lot of noise when you moved. I found that disgusting and was thankful I brought my Clorox wipes with me.
The bathroom was not clean, there was hair in the sink, on the floor and on the toilet. The furniture and carpeting was worn and dated in much need for an update. The room was on the 10th floor with a view of the building and air conditioning units. Upon arrival, the room was not ready so they took my cell phone and called me when the room was ready for check in. Booked a two night stay at the Pequot Tower for some rest and relaxation.
